Comparison: Dyson TP00 vs TP03 – What are the Differences?
Coverage Area
Dyson recommends the Pure Cool Tower TP00 for small rooms no larger than 30 m² (322 ft²). The Pure Cool Link Tower TP03, on the other hand, was designed to cover slightly larger rooms with an area of up to 41 m² (450 ft²).
Both devices feature Dyson’s Air Multiplier technology, which ensures an uninterrupted stream of purified air. Additionally, an oscillation of up to 70° for the TP00 and up to 90° for the TP03 allows them to circulate clean, cool air evenly across the room.

Clean Air Delivery Rate
Unfortunately, Dyson has not disclosed the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) for the TP00 and TP03. But with the TP01 having a CADR of 70 m³/h and the TP04 one of 90 m³/h, we can assume that the numbers for the TP00 and TP03 are somewhat similar.
The TP00 and TP03 utilize a 360° Glass H-13 HEPA filter combined with a carbon filter to capture 99.95% of allergens and air pollutants as small as 0.1 μm. Both devices were certified for being asthma and allergy-friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

Working Noise
Running at full speed, both the TP00 and TP03 generate up to 62 decibels (dB) of noise. But unlike its competitor, the TP03 can be set to automatic mode in which it will only run as fast and therefore as loud as needed.
Once pollution levels are back to normal, it will decrease fan speed accordingly. With the TP00, on the other hand, you will have to make changes manually. Both devices support a sleep timer starting from 15 minutes and going up to 9 hours.

Sensors & Display
Intelligent sensors inside the TP03 allow it to monitor the surrounding air quality. This data is then used as input for the automatic mode (see above) and viewable on your smartphone (see below). Both the TP00 and TP03 display the current fan speed on a built-in LED screen.

Weight & Dimensions
In the final round of this Dyson TP00 vs TP03 comparison, we will have a quick look at the weight and dimensions of the two devices. At 3.7 kg (8.2 lbs), both are lightweight enough to easily move around. And taking up less space than a A4 paper, they should fit in every room.

Conclusion: Dyson TP00 vs TP03 – Which is the Better Air Purifier?
The Dyson Pure Cool TP00 is an option for you if you have a small room and are looking for an air purifier that can act as a fan at the same time. While it does what it is supposed to do, features are held to a bare minimum – it is attractively priced, however.
That said, for most people, the Dyson Pure Cool Link TP03 is the better choice. Auto mode ensures healthy air quality without you having to monitor speed settings all the time. And if you want to do some monitoring anyway, you can always use your smartphone to do so.
