Comparison: Dyson TP00 vs TP07 – What are the Differences?
Coverage Area & Efficiency
Dyson recommends the TP00 for rooms with a surface area of up to 30 m² (322 ft²). The TP07 is suitable for rooms with a size of up to 74 m² (800 ft²). While both purifiers could be used in even bigger rooms, the Air Changes Per Hour (ACH) would decrease accordingly.
The TP00 and TP07 combine Dyson’s Air Multiplier technology with oscillation to project purified air evenly across the room. With the TP00, you are limited to 70 degrees oscillation. With the TP07, you can choose between 45, 90, 180, and 350 degrees.
Winner: TP07
Up to 30 m²
46 – 74 m²
Clean Air Delivery Rate
Unfortunately, Dyson has not disclosed the Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) for the TP00. But with the TP01 having a CADR of 70 m³/h, we can assume that the number for the TP00 is somewhat similar. The TP07, on the other hand, comes with a CADR of 90 m³/h.
Capable of removing up to 99.97% of pollutants and allergens including pollen, dust, and pet dander as small as 0.3 μm, both devices are certified for being asthma and allergy-friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

Working Noise
Running at full speed, the TP00 generates up to 62 decibels (dB) of noise – which is exactly the same as the TP07. In sleep mode, however, the TP07 is undoubtedly the better choice with a very acceptable noise level of just 32 decibels (dB).
And unlike the TP00, the TP07 can be set to automatic mode, in which the device will only run as fast and therefore as loud as necessary. Once air quality is back to normal levels, it will decrease the fan speed accordingly.
Winner: TP07
Up to 62 dB
32 – 62 dB
Sensors & Display
Intelligent sensors provide the TP07 with the current temperature, humidity, and pollution levels inside the room. Changes are detected almost in real-time and can be used as input for the automatic mode (see above).
With the TP07, the current Air Quality Index (AQI) and details about the PM 2.5, PM 10, VOCs, NO2, SO2, temperature, humidity, and filter life can be viewed on a built-in LCD screen and on your smartphone (see below). The TP00 only displays the current fan speed on a LED screen.

Connectivity & Compatibility
Aside from changing settings on the device itself, there are three ways to interact with the TP07. First, there is the remote which allows you to turn the purifier on and off, change oscillation, speed levels, set a timer, and activate auto or night mode.
You can also monitor and control the purifier remotely using a Wi-Fi connection, your smartphone, and the Dyson Link app. Lastly, the TP07 also works with Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri, and Google Home. The TP00, on the other hand, does not come with Wi-Fi capabilities.

Yes / Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri, Google Home
Weight & Dimensions
In the final round of this Dyson TP00 vs TP07 comparison, we will have a quick look at the weight and dimensions of both air purifiers. At just 3.7 kg (8.2 lbs) and taking up less space than a A4 paper, the TP00 is both the lighter and smaller device of the two.
Winner: TP00
196 x 196 x 1018 mm, 3.7 kg
220 x 220 x 1050 mm, 4.65 kg
Conclusion: Dyson TP00 vs TP07 – Which is the Better Air Purifier?
The Dyson Pure Cool TP00 is an option for you if you have a small room and are looking for an air purifier that can act as a fan at the same time. While it does what it is supposed to do, features are held to a bare minimum – it is attractively priced, however.
Aside from the price and slight difference in weight and dimensions, the Dyson Purifier Cool TP07 is superior in all categories including coverage area, CADR, and noise level, while also supporting remote control via your smartphone or voice assistants.
