With an effective range of up to 20 m² (219 ft²), the Core 300S works best in bedrooms, home offices, and other relatively small rooms. The Core 600S, on the other hand, comes with an impressive coverage area of up to 59 m² (635 ft²).

For both models, the recommendations are based on an assumed five air changes per hour (ACH) in a room with a ceiling height of 2.4 m (8 ft). While they could be used in even larger rooms, the time it takes to purify the whole room would increase accordingly.

Both devices come with an automatic mode, in which they will only run as fast and therefore as loud as needed. Once pollution levels inside the room return back to normal after a sudden spike, the fan speed and noise level of the 300S and 600S will decrease accordingly.

Sensors & Display

The Core 300S and 600S are equipped with Levoit’s AirSight Plus technology, which enables them to scan the surrounding air using lasers and provide air quality updates in real-time. The same information is also used as input for the automatic mode (see above).

You can use a Wi-Fi connection, your smartphone, and the VeSync app to monitor and control the Core 300S and 600S remotely. This allows you to turn the purifier on and off, create a schedule, view the remaining filter life, and more.
